Receive plaques and statues of the top companies in the field of food safety

Food safety is related to the health and hygiene of food, based on which the quality of food is maintained in order to prevent diseases transmitted by food. Safe foods do not get microbial, chemical, or physical contamination during transportation, preparation, and storage and do not cause illness to consumers.

On the occasion of the World Food Safety Day, a conference was held by the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education together with the Food and Drug Organization with the slogans (Food safety, social responsibility) and (Safe food, having a healthy tomorrow) in the presence of Dr. Saeed Namaki, Honorable Minister of Health, and Dr. Shane Saz, Deputy Minister of Health and Head of the Food and Drug Organization, as well as vice presidents of medical sciences universities across the country at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

During this ceremony, 37 top units in the country’s food industry were honored. In this conference, which was held in person and online for the purpose of World Food Safety Day, Zar Group managed to receive a plaque and a statue of the best company in the field of food safety from the Food and Drug Organization. The Food and Drug Organization chose Zar Group as the selection of this conference.
